Dr. John Simon founded Simon & Associates, Inc., in 1986. Initially, the company focused almost solely on septic system site evaluation and installation. As the business grew, our focus diversified to include fuel storage tank closure, geotechnical services, industrial maintenance, and groundwater remediation. We moved to our current location in the Blacksburg Industrial Park in 1997. The company currently employs about 30 professionals and technicians – our associates.

Our associates work on one of six teams: Executive, Administrative, Field operations, Geology, Remediation, and Land Development. Each team includes one or more project managers who work cooperatively to accomplish our goals. As a small company, we are able to develop rewarding professional relationships with all of our associates.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

Environmental Technician: Responsibilities include installation and monitoring of groundwater remediation systems, collecting and categorizing water and soil samples, scheduling and implementing monitoring activities. Qualifications include mechanical aptitude with some computer skills, a valid driver’s license, must be able to pass company drug and alcohol policy. Experience preferred but not necessary.
